With my Spanish background, I connect Spanish operators on our platform. Routescanner gives me the opportunity to use my international ambition.
From showing the good way to ship your good from a to b, to sustainably adapting the way you approach shipments. We have ‘doing good’ at our core.
We believe that only sustainable connections and relationships are here to stay. That’s why we cherish interaction and focus on lasting solutions. We grow our business in a way that we all benefit.
We believe shipping a container should be easy. That's why we reduce complexity, keep it simple and communicate clearly.
We are determined to pave the unbeaten path. Our route to success—and much of the fun— lies in developing good ways.
Confidence comes from feeling supported in your decision. By being open in what we do and providing full transparency we create the conditions to make good decisions.
If we talk about culture at Routescanner you need to have a good dose of humor (some sarcasm is appreciated). There is an open work spot policy, no one has hers/his own desk but the team usually sits together. Working close together you'll notice a lot of informal chitchat, brainstorm sessions carrier out loudly, and a very transparent environment. So, we talk a lot about creating your own route. To create this you need to be a self starter, you need to be open to try different angles and new things, you need to have a can-do mentality but also work together with your team. You need to be flexible enough that sometimes the process changes overnight and priorities have shifted all of a sudden.
Imagine taking your transportation (p.s. if you take the bike you get a very convenient compensation) to the Port of Rotterdam, enter a huge corporate building with state of the art technology. You take the elevator to the 18th floor and you see some Port of Rotterdam colleagues in their suites and ties, you find your desk for the day where the rest of your colleagues are with their routescanner sweaters. Looking outside, there's the biggest port and industrial complex in Europe.
You open your laptop, start your day and lead the good way. When you get stuck, you tackle the problem with your colleagues. You don't sit back and wait until it resolves itself, you get in the game. At the end of the day you have the Retro scheduled where you'll discuss the pain points while drinking nice cold brew in the nearby café. You'll fix it together and next day, you pick up where you left off.
